Another very rare version of the liberty head quarter which makes it one of the most valuable quarters is the 1913 – S mintage because there were only actually 40,000 of this particular type of quarter minted during that year and this is the lowest amount of quarters ever minted in the history of the Barber silver quarter when coins were minted during the 20th century.
